My piece is a paper mache Navi from The Legend of Zelda. My groups theme was video games,
and I was in charge of making a platform game based project. My other group members did puzzler and sport themed
games. The Legend of Zelda revolutionized gaming, and I felt it was worth getting recognized. It is also one of my favorite game franchises, and it is well known and successful. I chose Navi because it is a huge Zelda icon, it being the main characters partner through The Ocarina of Time, one of the most successful and best Zelda games ever. It was also the first Zelda game with 3D graphics and it was also the largest game Nintendo had released- a cartridge with 32 Megabytes. It also got perfect reviews from over 20 gaming critics, and was rated best game ever by gaming critics like GameSpot. It was only avaliable for thirty-nine days of the year, it sold over 7.6 cartridges worldwide. And who could forget her constant efforts of trying to help Link through his adventure? Hey, listen! Hey, hey, look! Listen! Her commentary makes it almost impossible to forget her. Even if it did get a little annoying sometimes, she was a crucial character in the game. Without her, who would remind Link what to do every five seconds? Somebodies gotta do it, even if it is a tiny blue fairy. But all in all, everybody loves Navi and the game wouldn't be the same without her.
